2010 EASTERN (GREENTOWN) HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL TEAM PREVIEW. The "Comets" are hoping to piggy back into this up coming season after finishing with there best overall record of 18-9 since the 1990's. This years group will depend on good leadership from 7 returning seniors and some juniors with varsity experience. Individuals that will be expected to play well for the Comets to be successful are C/P-Tyler Harnish(12), OF/P-Michael Moreno(12), SS/P-Brandon Hainlen(12), 3B-Jonathon Keith(12), and OF-Wesley Horner(11). Others that will be counted on heavily are 2B-Nathan Courter(12), OF/1B-Lee Beachy(12), OF/SS-Ian Beachy(12), OF/P-Jerry Flick(11), 1B-Saxon Swinson(11), UTL-Ty Myers(11), P/INF-Bryce Rainey(10), OF/P-Kile Nolder(10), OF-John Horner(10) and INF-T.J. DeHaan(10). We, as a coaching staff, are very excited to see how this group of young men play in a very competitive Mid-Indiana Conference and a tough 2A Sectional 40.
