The 2009 Hawks will be defending their 2008 4A State Championship title. Last year Decatur Central graduated 7 seniors off their 2008 State Champion Team. They return four starters off last years team. The pitching staff will need to be rebuilt as a result of losing starting pitchers to graduation. Last year the Hawks had a very good Junior Varsity team as well.
